Clinical Symposium Organized by Dr. Berteau Recognized by President Lynch

I was honored to see our work highlighted in President Timothy G. Lynch’s end-of-semester message to the College of Staten Island community.

President Lynch attended the Physical Therapy Department’s Clinical Symposium on Breast Cancer and generously acknowledged the quality of the student presentations, the role of experiential learning and applied research, and the mentorship provided by DPT faculty.

I’m especially proud of our students for the rigor, clarity, and professionalism they demonstrated, and grateful to my DPT colleagues for the collective work that makes these experiences possible.

Moments like this reaffirm the importance of student-centered scholarship, hands-on learning, and interdisciplinary engagement in health education.
